HITEC University, Taxila in collaboration with the Pakistan HVACR Society is proud to announce the “HVACR Students Innovation Conference & Project Expo 2025.” This prestigious event will serve as a dynamic platform for students, researchers, and industry professionals to showcase their innovative projects, exchange knowledge, and explore cutting-edge solutions in the fields of Renewable and Sustainable Energy, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, HVACR in Pharmaceutical industry. Participants will be able to showcase the innovative projects at a prestigious platform, alongside 20+ leading HVAC & MEP companies from Pakistan and Academic Researchers. The Expo aims to bridge Academia and Industry, encouraging young engineers to present sustainable, energy-efficient, and technologically advanced ideas that address real-world challenges in HVACR systems.

HITEC University Taxila, through its Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GlaxIT to enhance collaboration in areas of internships, incubation, industry-based Final Year Projects, seminars, and industry-focused curriculum development.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. S. Kamran Afaq, Worthy Vice Chancellor HITEC University, and Mr. Muhammad Kashif, CEO GlaxIT. The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Liaqat Ali, Director ORIC, and Prof. Dr. Tahir Nadeem Malik, Director Quality.
The GlaxIT team also visited the Computer Science Department, where they were warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Junaid Ali Khan, Dean Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The delegation visited advanced labs, including the High-Performance Computing Lab with GPU facilities, and expressed appreciation for the infrastructure.
This milestone marks another achievement by ORIC in bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring students are well-prepared for professional challenges and opportunities.

One-day workshop on Topic “Patent Writing/Drafting And Submission” has been conducted in ME 04 &Computer lab. Muhammad Ammar Akram (Assistant director research Projects ORIC& Lecturer) was the Speaker. This hands- on workshop is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills in patent writing and drafting.

Participation of shortlisted undergraduate student groups of Computer Science depts from HITEC University in the expo that was arranged through ORIC department in liason with Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) where the student showcased their research projects.

One day CPD Workshop on Topic” Introduction to Parametric Modelling In Autodesk Revit” has been conducted in the Mechanical Department. This workshop was expertly led by Engr.Waleed Razzaq from PHVACR Team. This workshop provides hands- on experience on Revit Families, parametric and 3D modelling on Revit Software.
